Extra-curricular activities are an important part of life at Newbold Verdon Primary School. A range of activities are offered to all children throughout their time at our school.
Although children take part in activities for fun and enjoyment, we feel they play an important part in the education of a child. Commitment, perseverance and working as a team are all important life skills.
Clubs offered vary throughout the year and include: Lunchtime Clubs, Girls and Boys Football, Tag-Rugby, Multi-Skills, Choir, SAQ, Gardening, Art Club, Drama, Homework Clubs, Forest School, Social Clubs and a host of other PE clubs.
We have a field and a playground as well as an indoor hall, which are used throughout the day and for after school clubs.
Our children have the opportunity to experience a residential visit during their time with us. The Year 2 visit is an overnight, 2 day visit to Beaumanor Hall and the Year 5/6 residential takes place over a week at an outdoor pursuits centre.
