Admissions are based on the current LEA policy.
All children living in the catchment area are automatically guaranteed
a place at our school if their parents so wish. Parents who live
outside the catchment area can apply. All decisions about admissions
are made by the Allocations Board at County Hall.
Foundation Stage children are admitted to school full time in the
September of the year they reach their 5th birthday. Please
telephone the office to help us plan for the future provision of your
child.
Pre-School Education
Parents have the opportunity to take their pre-school child to the
Playgroup called the Honeysuckle Play Group. This was judged to be very
good in all curriculum areas in its recent Ofsted report.
Parents can bring their pre-school child to the afternoon sessions in
school between 1.00 pm - 3.20 pm . The number of sessions is based on
the number of children registering for the group.
Arranging a Visit
Parents who are considering sending their child to Newbold Verdon
Primary School are encouraged to make an appointment to meet with the
Headteacher, Mr A Grubisic, and to have a look around the school.
