The Investors in People has been awarded
to the school for its good value for money.
Here is what they had to say in
the report after their visit in September 2003:
People who work at Newbold Verdon
have commented that they feel much more involved in the running of
the School, more aware of what it wants to achieve, and more able
to contribute to its success. What was most apparent was the improved
feeling of teamwork, which was attributed to the style and empathy
of the Headteacher, and vastly improved communication on all fronts.
The examples of training and development
forthcoming during interview, aptly demonstrated that the School
is continuing to place great emphasis on the importance of a fully
trained workforce. All staff are very well trained, loyal, kept fully
informed and the morale is high.
The findings of this review confirm
that Newbold Verdon Primary School is maintaining all 12 indicators
of the National Standard for Investors in People, and will continue
to be recognised as Investors in People.
